3 Cups of Tea

I took a "textile collage" class with Maggie Vanderweit a couple of weeks ago (stonethreads.ca) and came away with a bunch of textile pieces.  A couple of them I finished off as quilted wall hangings but I also wanted to incorporate some into semi-abstract works on gallery canvas.  Here is the first one that I finished off on a stretched canvas.

Ready To Roll

This is my 1st submission to the July virtual paintout (Thailand). Painting round wheels with a palette knife is an interesting challenge.
